Matthew Barrett MSc MRICS
Director
Director Matthew Barrett is a highly qualified & knowledgeable property professional. He has a Master’s Degree in Building Surveying, a Degree in Occupational Health & Safety Practice and is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS); this alongside over 25 years’ experience in construction, property and estate management.
Matthew has a passion for sport and since retiring from playing rugby, has taken up the role of Chairman at Sidmouth Rugby Football Club. A position he has held since 2019.
Unlike some of the large national surveying firms, being independent means we are not set onerous targets of how many properties we survey a day. This allows us to take our time when surveying a property, ensuring your potential purchase is given the time it needs to be properly inspected.
We pride ourselves on client communication; something often overlooked, especially by the large corporate surveying firms. We are available to discuss the property prior to inspection and, most importantly, after the survey has been completed. This personal service is just not available with larger firms working to strict targets.
